Not only for kids, newborn baby dolls have made great companions and collectibles for adults over the last couple of decades. In the 1990′s there was a doll called Magic Nursery Dolls. These dolls were so incredibly real, and you’d buy them without even knowing the sex of the baby – until you opened the package! It was so exciting – just like a birth day! They were so popular that McDonalds had a small version that they gave away with a meal. These dolls had bald, shiny heads with just a few wisps of hair – just like a real baby!

And, like most girls who has a newborn baby doll, the memories are quite strong when it comes to their own doll. Because, it was very personal. You’d take care of that doll like it was a real baby, feed it, change the diapers and cuddle – for hours on end. There was a real emotional attachment to that baby doll.
